the Monastery of Agios Nikolaos, which is located in a picturesque
forest area, just 6km from Amarynthos. The monastery was built
during the Byzantine period and today operates as a monastery
for nuns. Nearby is the interesting archaeological site in Eretria
which is also worth visiting. |
